Summer is here in full swing and with that comes summer camps! If you’re looking for the perfect camp for your child or family in the San Antonio area check out this fabulous resource: sanantoniosummercamps.org. This site is a directory of all camps of every sort in the San Antonio area.

One super fun place my family visited a few years ago with a group of friends is Camp Eagle. Mail Attachment

This beautiful Christian run camp is located a few hours north of San Antonio. During our visit we enjoyed canoeing, campfires, swimming in the river and a fabulous zip line. Since our visit they have even upgraded their zip line and now have the biggest in Texas!img_0367

With plenty of spiritual mentoring and activities galore this place was a blast! We totally enjoyed our visit and are hoping to return this fall.

Although summer camps can be loads of fun, check back next week to learn some alternative options.

I’m in love with Jesus Christ, my husband and 3 kids. I am a full time stay at home mom. Between homeschooling my kids, taking lots of pictures and keeping my family organized I stay quite busy. My family loves exploring new places together, hiking, biking and lots of swimming. I do occasional photography, web designing and graphic design, but I keep it minimal since my priority is my family. Caring for and schooling the kids is a full time job that I enjoy most.
